Good morning everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a pair of cards using some really pretty Dawn Ombre Ribbon.  At 1 1/2" wide, it is just the right size to decorate cards. 

I love the ombre effect and I wanted to showcase it in the center of my card. 

I die cut the center panel from the pattern paper, then added strips of ribbon to fill in the center.

Next, I die cut 2 smaller ovals and stamped a So Suzy sentiment in the center.  This really added a different effect to my card.

For my next card, I used the oval I die cut from the first card, adding it to a card that was first wrapped with the Dawn Ombre Ribbon.  A So Suzy sentiment was repeatedly stamped in the center.

Ombre Ribbon Rocks by Steph Ackerman

Good morning everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a pair of cards using some really pretty Dawn Ombre Ribbon.  At 1 1/2" wide, it is just the right size to decorate cards.  And can I say that ombre ribbon is lovely with it's varying colors.

Sometimes, you just need some pretty ribbon to finish up your cards.   While this card was pretty, the ribbon added a much needed touch of pizzazz around the panel.  To all some fullness, I tied another piece of ribbon around the knot.  Then a simple sentiment from So Suzy Stamps was attached to the ribbon.

My next card uses the same ribbon to dress up a butterfly card.  This time, I tied the ribbon to the card and placed the butterfly image on top.  A sentiment was then added to the upper right corner.

Ribbon Winter Wreath by Grace

 Hello ribbon friends. Today I’d like to share with you a very fun way to showcase some of your favorite trims in a home décor project. Winter is just around the corner and so why not celebrate it with a winter themed wreath. The best part of this project is it doesn’t need adhesive.

Instructions:

Gather your supplies. Because this is a winter themed project, I pulled mostly blue trims with the exception of the Dazzle Ivory and the Edinburgh trim. I didn’t want it to look so monotonous so I added those two to spice it up a bit. I also used different shades of blue so my wreath wouldn’t look too predictable. 

Plan a pattern of the ribbons on your wreath and start tying them down. I used a double knot on the project to make sure that my trims won’t unravel on me. 

Repeat the process until you’ve reached your pattern. Once you’re pleased with the pattern, repeat it until you have filled up the entire wreath with ribbon. This might take a while. I did this project while watching some TV. 

Once you’ve filled up your wreath with ribbon, Cut a 12” ribbon (of your choice) wrap around the wreath and tie the ends. Add a bow on one side and this will be your piece that will allow you to hang up your wreath.

I really liked how this turned out. The cuts are all different lending to a homemade feel plus the colors will definitely bring cheer to those cold wintery days ahead of us.

If you have scraps, like I did, make sure to save them for other crafty projects such as what I did with the cards I shared earlier this month.

Ombre Ribbon Luminaries by Pinky

 Hello again,  

It's Pinky today with a Fall Leaf Bag Luminary Tutorial 
perfect for the holiday table or home decor.  

Inside they contain a battery operated flameless candle, completely 

safe and perfect to keep him feeling comforted. 

1. Using card stock and SVG file at

8.5X11 size, and cut file out using die cut machine. 

2. Before assembling boxes, spray lightly using Krylon gold paint. 

3. Assemble boxes and adhere side panel. 

 4. After assembling box (leaving bottom open) punch out some leaf shapes. 

5. Adhere leaves to front of boxes. 

6. Take wide Ribbons Unlimited Ombre ribbon and adhere to back as shown in final photos. 

7. Adhere leaf to cover any adhesive. 

8. Insert flameless tealight candle into bottom of bag. 

These would also make wonderful holiday table decor, or even

on your TV stand etc....they are so easy to make and pretty to boot!

Witchy Poo Card by Crystal

Hello Ribbons Unlimited Inc fans!

It's Crystal here and today I made a Halloween card using the Ombre Ribbon - Light Plum.  It adds the perfect pop to my card!  This ribbon comes in so many colors, you can find them and oh so many other shades and textures and sizes in the Ribbons Unlimited Inc. store. I am sure you will find something amazing for your next project.

Wedding Invites by Crystal

Hello Ribbons Unlimited fans!

It's Crystal here with an Elegant Wedding Invitation I recently made. I used the wired edge  1 1/2" Ombre Ribbon in Dark Plum ( **I have blocked the names to protect the people this was made for, thanks for understanding )

Here is a look at the backside of the invite:

My grey base is Bazzill in Rock Candy cut at 5" by 7" and I made the Ivory layer slightly smaller.  The invite was created on the computer by my husband ( we make a great team ) and I then took them to Staples to be printed and cut.  I used my own cardstock 110lb Ivory for the invite portion ( Staples doesn't carry this color and I wanted a very luxurious feel to this invite).  Next we took 8" silver foiled doilies and wrapped the invite and then made a belly band with the  wired edge  1 1/2" Ombre Ribbon in Dark Plum.  This ribbon is so elegant and rich, it was the perfect ribbon for this project .

We also made an RSVP insert and that envelope was in 
grey so when they stared pouring in they were easy to spot!

I hope this project was inspiring and it  gets you to create something special with ribbon from Ribbons Unlimited Inc..  I will be back Wednesday with another great project to share with you .
