Using Satin Ribbon to Pull Out Colors

With the wide variety of Ribbons Unlimited colors, it's easy to coordinate with the colors on your stamped images.  Jill with you today and for each of these stamped tags, I used our Satin Ribbon to the accent color on each bears' sign (Penny Black).  The bears were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers.

Holiday Tags with Jill

Looking for a fantastic holiday ribbon? Our Pumpkin Ombre ribbon fits the bill...

To create these tags, I stamped them each using Penny Black's Harmony background and Distress Paint (Barn Door and Wild Honey).  Once dry, I added Distress Inks over the top.  The areas stamped in paint acted as a resist.  My two smaller tag images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then adhered using dimensional adhesive after being colored with Copic markers and cut out. To embellish each tag I used Penny Black Creative Dies Snowflake Trio and Dancing Leaves.  Finally, I added the Ombre Ribbon to pull all of the colors together.

Holiday Tag with Jill

Hi guys, it's Jill and for today's project the beautiful blue of the Sky Blue Ombre ribbon inspired my entire color scheme!  Incorporating the pretty blue along with traditional red and green Christmas colors helps make this tag "pop."  

To create the tag, I stamped my image (Penny Black) in black ink and colored with Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft markers and pastel pencils.  Three punched circles, lightly distressed with Brushed Corduroy, were added to the tag with dimensional adhesive along with the stamped sentiment! 

Our Ombre Ribbon has a gradient pattern and transitions from one color to another!

Joy to the World by Jill

Jill is joining us today using our 1/8" Grosgrain ribbon to accent this stunning Holiday card!

Jill first stamped her image (Penny Black) using Distress Paint then added a sentiment stamped in black on a punched circle.  She added pearls for a little extra embellishment but it is the thin grosgrain ribbon that finishes this card off perfectly!  The small size of the ribbon matches perfectly with the scale of the stamped image.

Holiday Card with Jill

Jill is joining us today with another amazing hand stamped Holiday card that she ties all together with our Black and White Polka Dot Ribbon!  Doesn't it just make the card pop!?

Our dotted ribbon is wired so it stays where you want it and comes in 1-1/2" width. 

 It uses our "Lyon" French Wired ribbon as a backdrop and is made in Germany.

Merry and Bright with Jill Foster

Jill is joining us today with a gorgeous Holiday card!  We love the bold and bright colors Jill selected for this card and she is using our Red Organdy Ribbon to tie it all together.   Our Organdy ribbon is an unwired sheer ribbon that has a monofilament edge sewn in to give it extra body!  The sheerness of the ribbon works perfectly with this card, allowing you to see all of the beautifully stamped and embossed tree!

Layering Ribbon with Jill

Jill is using our Sea Foam Double-Face Satin Ribbon to not only create this beautiful bow but also for layering the ribbon vertically down the side of the card.  Her trick?  She simply adheres it with a double sided adhesive!  How easy is that?  It really gives the look of her card a lot of texture and elegance!
