Pretty Country Card by Melissa Craig

Friday, August 21, 2015

Good Morning!  I have a really easy card to share with you today.  I love the simple, little touches of ribbon, it really lends to the country feel of this card.

My card is a 5x5 square card, the base is Kraft card stock.  The lattice piece I cut using my Cameo Silhoutte - it didn't even occur to me to cut this from silver vinyl or foil.  If I had, it would looked more like chicken wire.  But nevertheless, that's what it reminds me of.  The sunflower is a Spellbinders die d-lites.  I placed Grosgrain Ribbon - Antique Blue in the corner and then added Country Check - Light Blue next to it and a little piece knotted on the edge.

I hope you enjoy my card and that it inspires you to use ribbon just a little differently.  It doesn't always have to be a bow.  :0)

Please free to visit me at my blog.

Have a great day!
